I’ve struggled my entire life to write without grammatical or punctuation errors. This has held me back in school, and in the business world, and has kept me from achieving certain goals. Sometimes, my mistakes actually distract my readers from my intended meaning.
Because of this, my messaging can seem over-direct, blunt, or even rude, when that is the last thing I want to convey. I’ve noticed this in my emails, blog posts, social media sharing, resumes, and many other text-based communications with friends and co-workers.
